Sign Up Methods
You can sign up for BugBrain using:
- Email and Password - Create a new account with your email
- Google - Sign up with your Google account
- GitHub - Sign up with your GitHub account
Creating Your Account

Visit the Sign Up Page
Go to bugbrain.tech and click the 'Sign Up' button in the top right corner.

Choose Your Sign Up Method
Select how you want to sign up - with email, Google, or GitHub.

Complete the Registration
If using email: Enter your name, email, and password. If using OAuth: Authorize BugBrain to access your account information.

Verify Your Email (Email Sign-Up Only)
Check your inbox for a verification email and click the verification link. This step is required for email sign-ups.

Complete Your Profile
Once logged in, you'll be prompted to complete your organization profile.

What Happens After Sign Up?
When you sign up:
- Organization Created: BugBrain automatically creates an organization for you
- You’re the Owner: As the first user, you have full admin access
- Free Trial Starts: Your 14-day trial begins immediately
- Onboarding Tour: You’ll see a quick tour of the dashboard
Account Security
To keep your account secure:
- Use a strong password (at least 8 characters with mixed case, numbers, symbols)
- Enable 2FA (recommended for enhanced security)
- Don’t share credentials with team members - invite them instead!

Account Lockout: After 5 failed login attempts, your account will be locked for security. You can reset your password to unlock it.

Didn’t receive verification email?
- Check your spam folder
- Make sure you entered the correct email address
- Request a new verification email from the login page
Can’t log in?
- Verify your email first (if using email sign-up)
- Reset your password if you forgot it
- Make sure you’re using the correct sign-in method (email vs OAuth)
