AI Exploratory Testing
Exploratory testing is AI-driven autonomous exploration without predefined test cases. The AI explores your app and finds bugs you didn’t know existed.
How It Works
The AI runs through 3 phases:
- Scouting — Discover pages and navigation
- Exploring — Interact with UI elements, forms, buttons
- Reporting — Generate bug list with severity
No test scripts written. The AI decides what to test.
Use Cases
- New applications — Discover what exists
- Before release — Find unexpected bugs
- Regression testing — Catch breaking changes
- UAT preparation — Ready app for testing
Quick Start
- Go to Dashboard → Exploratory Testing
- Click “New Session”
- Enter target URL
- Set duration (10–60 minutes)
- Set risk focus area (optional)
- Click “Start”
- Monitor live progress
- View bugs found
Session Phases
| Phase | Duration | What Happens |
|---|---|---|
| Scouting | 20% | AI discovers pages, navigation paths |
| Exploring | 60% | AI interacts with UI elements, fills forms |
| Reporting | 20% | AI generates bug report with severity |
Bug Severity
Bugs are scored:
- Critical — Application crashes, major feature broken
- High — Feature doesn’t work as expected
- Medium — Minor UI issue, edge case bug
- Low — Cosmetic, typos, minor visual glitches
