Plans & quotas

Reference for BugBrain plans and quotas — the Launch, Startup, and Scale plans, the 14-day trial, the metered dimensions each plan grants, and the add-on quotas (PR reviews, load requests, AI tests) that default to zero.

This page lists BugBrain's plans and the dimensions they meter. Exact numbers are plan-specific and configurable per workspace, so the authoritative figures live on the in-app Billing page — this reference describes what is metered, not fixed values. For managing your subscription, see Billing & plans.

Plans#

PlanNotes
LaunchEntry plan.
StartupMid plan.
ScaleTop plan.
14-day trialNew workspaces start on a BugBrain-managed 14-day trial (not a payment-provider trial). When it ends without a paid plan, the workspace becomes past-due until billing is set up.

Metered dimensions#

Each plan grants an allowance across these dimensions. The numbers differ per plan and are shown in-app.

DimensionWhat it limits
Monthly run quotaHow many test runs you can start per month.
Token quotaThe monthly AI token budget the agents draw from.
Monthly test-case executionsHow many test-case executions you can run per month.
Test-case limitThe number of saved test cases the workspace can hold.
Concurrent-run limitHow many runs can be in flight at once.

Add-on quotas (default to zero)#

The metered add-ons are gated by their own quota, which defaults to zero on every plan — so a paid plan alone does not turn them on. An add-on is enabled for a workspace by setting its quota above zero (and turning on its feature flag).

Add-onQuota dimensionEnabled when
PR automationPR reviews per monthIts feature flag is on and the monthly PR-review quota is above zero.
Load testingLoad requests per monthIts feature flag is on and the monthly load-request quota is above zero.
AI / LLM app testingAI tests per monthIts feature flag is on and the monthly AI-test quota is above zero.

Quotas are configurable per workspace

Both the plan dimensions and the add-on quotas are set per workspace. The current numbers for your workspace are always on the in-app Billing page — that's the source of truth, not this reference.

Add-on quotas are decoupled from your plan

Changing plans resets the standard usage counters but does not grant add-on quota. Add-on quotas are set independently, so the quota itself is the gate.

Frequently asked questions

What plans does BugBrain offer?

Three plans — Launch, Startup, and Scale — plus a 14-day trial for new workspaces. Each plan grants a set of monthly quotas; the exact numbers are shown on the in-app Billing page.

How long is the trial and what happens after?

The trial runs 14 days and is managed by BugBrain (not your payment provider). When it ends without a paid plan, the workspace moves to a past-due state until billing is set up.

Where do I see the exact quota numbers for my plan?

On the in-app Billing page. The numbers are plan-specific and configurable per workspace, so the app is the authoritative source — this page describes the dimensions, not fixed figures.

Why do the add-ons show a zero quota by default?

The metered add-ons (PR reviews, load requests, AI tests) default to a zero quota on every plan. They are enabled per workspace by setting a quota above zero, so the add-on quota is the real gate, independent of which plan you're on.
